Founder of Marley Coffee and son of legendary musician and visionary Bob Marley, Rohan was born in Jamaica in 1972 and moved to the US twelve years later. He went on to study sociology at the University of Miami, and built a name for himself on the football field, starring as a linebacker for the Hurricanes.

Throughout his football career, Rohan knew he would one day work the land like his father, whose goal was to become a farmer. In 1999, his dream began taking shape when he purchased 52 acres of land atop Jamaica’s Blue Mountains, one of the world’s most prized coffee-producing regions. In 2010 Rohan became chairman of Jammin Java Corp ”Marley Coffee” (JAMN.OTCBB).

Like his father, Rohan is a passionate entrepreneur with an eye to the future. He’s combined his creativity and business acumen to engineer a self-sustaining and certified organic coffee farm which aims to help preserve Earth’s natural balance. Marley Coffee has seen rapid growth in the gourmet marketplace, thanks to the rich, bold flavors of their coffee beans, and to Rohan’s unwavering support of sustainable, organic, and Fair Trade farming practices. Rohan believes strongly in giving back to charitable causes and communities in need. To help promote happiness and prosperity, Marley Coffee created and continues to support 1love.org, an internet community that allies individual efforts to worthy causes.

Rohan has been a driving force behind the expansion of House of Marley electronics. In his role as brand ambassador, he’s pushed House of Marley into the public consciousness. Acting as the face of the company, Rohan represents the brand in press, at industry events, and with major accounts. House of Marley products are ranked among the best sound equipment in their class, a fact that owes a great deal to Rohan’s leadership.

Rohan has applied his love of aesthetics to Tuff Gong Clothing Company, a brand named after his father’s record label, Tuff Gong International.
