Yehoshua Hooper is an artist and educator whose creative journey is a fusion of Visual Language, Torah, and the human spiritual experience. With a BA from the University of Colorado and an MA in Jewish Education, Nonprofit Leadership & Development, and Art Education from the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City, Yehoshua brings a unique blend of artistic talent and deep spiritual insight to his work. Yehoshua’s artistic education was enriched through his time at the Jewish Museum in Manhattan, where he gained practical art educational skills, and his artist residency program at JTS, where he had the privilege of learning from the acclaimed artist Tobi Kahn. His thirst for knowledge and passion for Jewish Experiential Education led him to the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem, where he studied and received certification in experiential education while running community studio workshops. Yehoshua’s art and educational work are inspired by his goal to ignite others’ spirituality and facilitate a profound connection with Torah in new and meaningful ways. His creations are a reflection of his unwavering commitment to exploring the intersections of art, spirituality, and Jewish tradition. Yehoshua’s innovative approach to Visual Language opens up new possibilities for self-expression and deepens the spiritual experience for his audience.
